PURPOSE: To simplify confirmation of lighting even by a person having unsound eyes by a method wherein a series circuit comprising a fluid switch turned ON when a stick is inclined and the tip of a lower part is raised to a position located approximately horizontal to a grip part near at a hand or to a level higher than that of the grip part and a buzzer is connected in parallel to a light emitting substance.
CONSTITUTION: Wiring is made on a light emitting diode body 15 so that energization is effected from a battery 6 through a switch part 11. A buzzer 14 is connected in parallel to the diode body 15 through a fluid switch 12. When orientation of a stick 1 is brought into a vertical state like a time when it is used, fluid 3 is moved to the bottom part of the fluid switch 12 to disconnect electric coupling between switch contacts 12-1 located to the upper part of the stick. As a result, the switch is brought into an OFF-state. When the stick 1 is inclined up and the tip of the lower part thereof is raised to a position located approximately horizontal to a grip part near a hand or to a level higher than that of the grip part, the fluid 13 electrically intercouples the switch contacts 12-1, and the switch is brought into an ON-state. This constitution enables even a blind person to confirm lighting only by bringing the stick 1 into a horizontal state.
