PURPOSE: To reduce cost and to shorten a process by providing a tank filled with water to the inside of the reaction furnace of a synthesizing equipment for N 2 -H 2 compd. wherein plasma reaction is utilized.
CONSTITUTION: A reaction furnace 5 is provided to the inside of a water tank 7 so that the lower end part of generated plasma touches the water surface. The inside of the reaction furnace 5 is exhausted at ≤about 50Torr through a liquid nitrogen trap 15. Then, gaseous N 2 in a cylinder 1 is supplied to the plasma reaction part of the reaction furnace 5 via a needle valve 2, a filter 3 of a gas line and a mass controller 4. Moreover, plasma is generated by impressing electric power to an induction coil 6 via a high-frequency oscillator 10 and a wattmeter 9. H 2 is generated by sputtering on water surface which is caused by nitrogen molecules and ions produced by discharge of gaseous N 2 and N 2 -H 2 compd. is synthesized. This compd. is introduced into a trap 12 and collected by zeolite 11.
