Solar battery driven equipment

Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently utilize the superfluous power of a solar battery by providing a subordinate equipment supplied with the superfluous power by the solar battery and driven with the superfluous power at the time of the stoppage of a main equipment or at the time of the generation of the superfluous power of the solar batter. CONSTITUTION: Between an inverter circuit 51 and a motor 52 of an inverter air conditioner 5 serving as a main equipment, an electric water heater 6 is connected in parallel as a subordinate load operated by the same three-phase AC as that operates the main equipment. Accordingly, the superfluous power of a solar battery 3 generated during the actuation of the air conditioner 5 (an opening/closing device 53 is turned on) or the generated power of the solar battery 3 during the stoppage of the air conditioner 5 (the opening/closing device 53 is turned off) can be efficiently utilized by the electric water heater 6 via the inverter circuit 51. Thus, the power generated by the solar battery 3 can be efficiently utilized at the time of power failure in a commercial system 1 or at the time of the generation of the superfluous power of the solar battery 3.
